This is a new Bride of Frankenstein illustration I did. It's funny I havent seen any of the classic Universal monster movies but I love them so much. They're fun to work with.

  • Thom Yorke
This is a portrait of Thom Yorke I recently completed. I wanted to keep myself to a very limited pallet. Focusing on the drawing of the face more then the tones and values. My goal was to create a flat image that still has some depth while using a limited selection of colors.

  • Hitchcock
This was done for the WHITEOUT Collaboration at Society6.com. When I was thinking about what I wanted to do for it, I was focusing on the idea of doing something that was very black and white. Something that would have a lot of contrast. For me when I think of Black and White someone that comes to mind is Alfred Hitchcock and this particular pose is one that I have long been a fan of. I really like a lot of ink work that some artists do and I was aiming to achieve that sort of look.

  • After Hours
So a while ago I thought it would be fun to do a pin up type of picture. After googling Pin Up girls I found that the ones I liked the most were the burlesque ones. So I went to deviant art and searched for burlesque in the stock section. I found a stock image that was perfect for what I was looking for!

  • Ain't No Grave
So this just started out as a drawing of a skull. I like to draw skulls and skeletons once in a while because I think it's fun to draw bones. In the early stages I thought of this being like a successor to my CMYK Spacemen piece. So I just ended up using the cmyk colors a lot.

In regards to the name. Sometimes when I can't come up with a name I turn on Itunes and look through my songs for inspiration. Johnny Cash's Aint No Grave song came up and this image of this crazy skeleton full of electric energy just came to mind. So it fit.

  • CMYK Spacemen
This basically started out with me wanting to experiment with transparencies of blue and red. It went from that to the CMYK Spacemen. I also wanted to do something with astronauts.

This illustration was heavily inspired by the Gorillaz album THE FALL...as I was listening to it on repeat while I was working on this piece!

  • Noel Gallagher After Oasis
In November McSweeney's contacted me about doing an illustration for a book they were making called Grantland Quarterly issue 2. This is the illustration I did that accompanies the article by Chuck Klosterman called "Noel Gallagher After Oasis"

I am pleased to show this to you all as I've been waiting months for the book to be published and now it finally is!
You can get the book at: https://store.mcsweeneys.net/products...nd-issue-2

  • Robocop In Love
I recently discovered Mondo tees and after looking at all of the prints on that site it inspired me to do something that was purposely meant for screen printing as well as something that had a fairly limited color palette. I wanted to work with a subject that is in a movie and I thought it would be fun to do Robocop!

The inspiration for the sparks behind his head came from an illustration I saw on tumbr and there is an artist I like who I've seen do it and I always wanted to do something similar. I am talking about both the color and the look and after I did it thats when the title came to me! This is what happens when Robocop falls in love! There are sparks!

  • Fett
I've been wanting to do a Star Wars thing for a while and Boba Fett has been on the top of my list for some time now! My original concept was quite a bit different then this but as the piece evolved this is what it turned into. The final idea is a much more simplified idea.

  • I was once a hero
This image depicts a relic of the past. A Hero of the golden age. A time when humans going to the moon was a really big deal. This is such a hero who somehow got lost in space.

  • The 3D Star Punk
The 3D Star Punk is a design I made specifically to be worn on on shirts. I've been wanting to do something with a skull in it for a while because I find working with skulls and the skeleton to be quite fun! When I was working on this I started to see this skull as being sort of a deceased Kiss fan who even dead still lives on to champion his/her favorite band! This print is currently being scored over at Threadless.com and one way or another this design is going on shirts! I hope you all enjoy it and please head on over to http://www.threadless.com/submission/341452/The_3D_Star_punk and vote! Every vote counts and helps a lot! Please comment too! The more exposure this gets the better my chances of getting it printed!

  • Man of Faith
This is an illustration of John Locke from Lost! This character has always been one of my favorite characters on the show. I did a painting of him a few months ago but since then my style has turned into one that is more vector based so I wanted to do a vector version of John Locke. The black smoke went through a few changes. First I just drew in the lines to place the smoke on the picture and then after that I added detail to it but in the end I decided that I liked it much more as just a solid black mass. To me it felt more imposing then it did when it had detail.

  • Business Cards
Here are a few business cards that I've done for some people. These were all done over the last few months. I started by doing my brother in laws cards, and then after that my sister wanted cards done as well. Around the same time I was doing my sisters cards an old high school friend contacted me and the ball has been rolling ever since! Some address/contact info have been removed as per client request.
