This is why I do what I do

My name is Matt Fontaine and I am an illustrator and designer from Edmonton, Alberta. I am currently open for freelance work and open to full time opportunities should the right position come my way. I am mainly an illustrator with influences coming from the likes of R Kikuo Johnson, Patrick Lager and Jack Richardson. I love their use of flat colours and simply line work, this is the style I aim for but with my own touch. Other influences include Jake Parker and Max Ulichney. My work experience has been mainly working for a company where I did garment design but that also allowed me the opportunity to do a variety of graphic design as well and I have experience creating designs for business cards, banners, websites and flyers plus a variety of print materials. I am well versed in Adobe Creative cloud and Procreate.

I run my own Etsy shop where I sell stickers and cards I make and I will also soon be offering prints of my work as well.
